The Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children is a nationally-accredited organization offering children who are victims of alleged sexual abuse a safe, neutral place to talk. The center contracts with specially-trained forensic interviewers who carefully question a child using techniques which are both age and developmentally appropriate.
We believe all individuals deserve choose the direction of their lives. Our programs address norms and barriers that could cause anyone to find themselves in situations of violence, trauma, or addiction. We actively work to transform lives by creating positive change, stability, and new opportunities for our clients, their families, and the community.
We work in three areas: intervention, through education for individuals who have caused harm and focus on accountability and building healthy relationships; advocacy, through free, confidential services and support groups for victims and survivors; and prevention, through community based programs that equip youth with skills for nonviolent leadership.
