Fort Wayne Children's Foundation Announces Chef Competition

Fort Wayne, IN, August 6, 2015 - Fort Wayne Children’s Foundation announces the “Summit City Chef Competition!” The Summit Chef Competition showcases some of the finest chefs in our area to compete in a similar fashion to TV’s “Iron Chef”. There is a secret ingredient, and they are judged by a panel of esteemed celebrity judges as well as all those in attendance. Awards given are “Summit City Chef,” “Summit City Best Dessert,” and “Summit City Best Wine.” Event is held Wednesday, September 9th at Sweetwater. Tickets begin at $200 with corporate tables beginning at $2,250. Participating this year are Executive Chef Jesse Arnold III of Club Soda, Executive Chef Mark Graves of Marko’s on 2nd, Executive Chef Demetrois Rumentzas of TW Fable, Executive Chef Brian Shreffler of Hideout 125, and Executive Chef Preston Fallat and Pastry Chef Max Brandon Neal of the Fort Wayne Country Club. Celebrity judges are Mayor Tom Henry and Cindy Henry, and Celebrity Chef Steven Meese, Chuck and Lisa Surack, Museum Director Charles Shepard, and Deputy Director of Administration and Communications Amanda Martin.
